1. General Shipping Information

  • Your order will usually be processed within 2 business days, except during busy holiday seasons (THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, VALENTINE’S DAY AND EASTER). Please check delivery method for Shipping Options & Charges & Holiday Ordering Deadlines for total delivery time.
  • Due to the unique and perishable nature of our products, orders being shipped to warm climates above 72º F should be shipped Priority Overnight. Insulated Cooler with an ice pack is recommended if shipping temperatures will be above 72º F during shipping.
  • Shipping is Monday-Thursday during business hours.
  • **No orders are processed on Friday. This is to avoid products being stored in a non-climate controlled shipping facility over the weekend.
  • Orders requiring Saturday Delivery (available for an additional $15) call 212-751-8482 or 800-554-0624
  • Our packages are shipped with a Signature Release, which allows FedEx to leave package without a signature. If you require any other arrangement, please include your instructions in the Customer Notes section of the Checkout Page.
  • Some remote areas in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington may require an additional business day. Due to the perishable nature of our products, shipping to Puerto Rico is not available.


2. Shipping Options & Charges

FedEx PRIORITY OVERNIGHT
(2 Business Days to Process Orders)

  • Priority Overnight Delivery orders received after Wednesday Midnight may be shipped on the following Monday during busy seasons. This is to avoid products being stored in a shipping facility over the weekend.
  • Orders placed Thursday-Sunday will be processed on Monday, unless Saturday delivery is arranged by calling 212-751-8482 or 800-554-0624
  • Delivery arrival to destination by 12pm noon. Some remote locations may require an additional business day.

FedEx 2Day
(2 Business Days to Process Orders)

  • 2Day Delivery orders received after Tuesday Midnight may be shipped on the following Monday during busy seasons. This is to avoid products being stored in a shipping facility over the weekend.
  • Orders placed Thursday-Sunday will be processed on Monday, unless Saturday delivery is arranged by calling 212-751-8482 or 800-554-0624.
  • Delivery arrival to destination by 7pm. Some remote locations may require an additional business day.

FedEx GROUND

  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, Ground is not available.

FUTURE DATE

  • If you need your items to be shipped on a FUTURE DATE (Allow 2 business days to process order), please indicate this on the Checkout Page or in the Customer Notes section.

SHIPPING CHARGES

  • All shipping charges are based on the total shipping weight of the items purchased. Actual shipping cost is calculated after the destination address has been entered on the Checkout Page.


3. Special Shipping - (Available by calling 212-751-8482 or 800-554-0624

  • Saturday delivery is an additional $15 (Not available in all areas)
  • Hawaii & Alaska is an additional $10 (Some remote locations may require an additional business day.)
  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, shipping to Puerto Rico is not available.


4. Warm Weather Shipping Policies

  • April – September & Warm Weather Climates: Orders shipped to warm climates, temperature is above 72º F in delivery area, must choose Priority Overnight & Warm Weather Delivery for delivery of your chocolates.
  • For an additional cost –Insulated Cooler with Ice Pack $9.50, option is available at the Checkout Page.
  • Priority Overnight & Warm Weather Delivery shipping may also be needed at other times of the year.
  • Teuscher Chocolates is not responsible for melting during shipping.


5. Delivery Information

  • All orders assume the customer authorizes a Signature Release for delivery of their package. Teuscher Chocolates cannot assume responsibility for damage or loss of delivery.
  • FedEx requires an apartment, suite or floor number when delivering packages, to ensure prompt accurate delivery. Always include a phone number for the recipient, incase there is an issue delivering your package.
  • The details of your name billing address, shipping address and mode of payment are critical. We cannot be responsible for errors in information that is provided to us. Costs resulting from such errors will be charged to you (ie. Wrong address, apartment, zip code). FedEx charges an additional $10 for return or redelivery of your package.
  • The accuracy of the shipping information you provide is crucial in making sure your delivery is prompt. This ensures that our customers can enjoy our products for the full extent of their shelf life. Teuscher Chocolates cannot be held responsible for returns caused by incomplete or erroneous delivery instructions.


6 Holiday Ordering Deadlines

  • Halloween – Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at - Midnight
  • Thanksgiving – Sunday, November 20, 2005 at – Midnight
    (FedEx will not be delivering on Thanksgiving Day)
  • Christmas/Hanukkah – Monday, December 19, 2005 at – Midnight
  • New Year’s – Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at – Midnight
  • Valentine’s Day – Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at – Midnight
  • Easter – Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at – Midnight

(Orders received after above deadlines will not be guaranteed delivery before holiday)
